This was a personal piece I did to add to my portfolio. I model a lot of ships and such but all of them are of a fantastical nature so I wanted to try my hand at making something that exists in the world and see how close to the real thing I could make it =) This isn't really finished, but I've been too busy with work and it's just been sitting there for months so thought I'd post it for now.
This took about 1-2 weeks in my spare time. Simple straight modeling in Maya using images of the real LAV III as reference, no scripts or anything.
